Samsung Galaxy A16 4G LTE unlocked Smartphone Review

The Samsung Galaxy A16 is a solid budget phone that keeps the quality of the Galaxy A series. It features a vibrant 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and sharp 1080×2340 resolution. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, it provides stable performance for everyday tasks.

For photography, it has a triple rear camera with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, plus a 13MP front camera for selfies. It runs Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1 and is promised six major software updates for long-term support.

The phone is equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging, though a charger isn’t included in the box. Storage is expandable via microSD, but the base model’s 4GB of RAM may feel limiting for multitasking over time.

This 4G model supports LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41, and 66. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 800 nits, and a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.

The camera system includes two 50 MP wide sensors and a 2 MP macro sensor. It is powered by a 5000 mAh non-removable battery with support for 25W wired charging.

Please note: this device does not support E-SIM. It is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the United States, it is only compatible with T-Mobile and its MVNOs, such as Metro and Standup. For specific carrier compatibility, please contact the seller. A power adapter is not included in the box.
