The Honor Magic V5 features a 4.32 GHz octa-core processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of non-expandable internal storage. It runs on Android 15 and is powered by a 5820mAh non-removable battery.

It has a 7.95-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display that supports 1 billion colors and a resolution of 2172 x 2352 pixels. For performance, it runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, built on a 3nm process with an octa-core CPU (two high-performance cores at 4.32 GHz and six efficiency cores at 3.53 GHz). It comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The rear camera system includes a 50 MP wide lens with OIS, a 64 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, there is a 20 MP front camera and a 20 MP cover camera.
